Make an Impact on Mission-Critical Security Technology

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting advanced, network-connected security screening systems. This is a hands-on role focused on stabilizing and enhancing production systems while contributing to next-generation (greenfield) capabilities. If you enjoy solving complex problems, improving real-world systems, and working across engineering disciplines—this role offers a strong balance of ownership, technical depth, and visible impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and deliver new features that coordinate across multiple systems, designing secure and reliable inter-service communication to support them.
  • Own and enhance existing production codebases
  • Contribute to targeted greenfield development as new capabilities are introduced
  • Support software releases, debugging, and issue resolution in production environments
  • Partner with systems, test, field, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration challenges
  • Create and improve technical documentation to support long-term system sustainability

What You Bring

  • Experience with microservices architectures, including:
    • REST APIs, gRPC/protocol Buffers
    • Message brokers
    • Containerization
    • Securing communications channels.
  • Experience in C++, including multi-threading.
  • Proven background working in Linux environments (must-have)
  • Experience supporting distributed / networked systems in production
  • Comfortable working in and improving established codebases
