We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support electrical design for commercial projects. This role is focused on power distribution, lighting, low voltage systems, load calculations, and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities
-
Develop electrical drawings, models, details, schedules, and construction documents.

Design power distribution systems, lighting layouts, low voltage systems, and related electrical infrastructure.

Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, panel schedules, and circuiting layouts.

Coordinate electrical design with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and civil teams.

Support design reviews, code reviews, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.

Review existing electrical systems and support field verification when needed.

Respond to RFIs, submittals, design changes, and construction-related questions.

Maintain accurate project documentation, drawing updates, and quality control standards.
Required Experience
-
Electrical engineering or electrical design experience for commercial, government, institutional, or similar facility projects.

Strong Revit experience for electrical modeling and documentation.

AutoCAD experience for drafting, detailing, and construction document support.

Working knowledge of power distribution, lighting design, low voltage systems, and building electrical systems.

Ability to perform load calculations and prepare panel schedules, single-line diagrams, and electrical layouts.

Understanding of electrical codes, coordination requirements, and construction documentation standards.

Ability to work with internal teams, consultants, clients, and contractors.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience with federal, municipal, defense, public sector, or government facility projects.

Experience with emergency power, generators, fire alarm, security, telecom, or data systems.

Familiarity with energy codes, lighting controls, service sizing, and equipment coordination.

EIT, PE, or ability to work toward professional licensure preferred.
