Your role at Delta Faucet:
Delta Faucet Company has an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electronics Team to help deliver the next generation of product features and technology to our customers. This person will have the opportunity to design IoT hardware platforms, implement hardware architecture across product lines, collaborate with multi-functional teams, and coordinate with suppliers to launch new electronic products to the market. They will work together with a team of engineers on daily tasks to ensure projects are developed with high quality designs and reusability in mind. They will effectively communicate with other engineering disciplines, product managers, software teams, and IT to ensure our products meet requirements and customer needs. They receive direction from the Electrical Engineering Manager and provide direction to engineering contractors.

Responsibilities:

· Own the delivery and integration of hardware designs for new projects and IoT platforms.

· Work with multi-functional teams to design and develop schematics and pcba layouts for new products, sustain and maintain hardware for existing products, and build the architecture for future products and platforms.

· Develop test plans including bench testing, compliance testing, functional testers, and internal certification testing. Responsible for execution of bench testing as determined by test plan.

· Refine and influence processes and best practices

· Contribute to the development of data models that allow us to gain critical insights on customer use habits and installation environments.

· Participate in consumer research studies and experiments to understand and identify unmet consumer needs; Lead and/or participate in conceptualization workshops to define consumer solutions.

· Work with Quality & Customer Service Teams to diagnose field failure returns; Identify corrective and preventative countermeasures that feed into future design and test strategies.

· Individual contributor position with developing professional and technical skills and proficiencies working under immediate to general supervision. Opportunity to lead initiatives or projects as fitting.

Education & Experience:

· BSEE / ET Degree, or other relevant engineering degree

· 5+ Years Engineering & Technical Design Experience with Proven Product Development & Execution Experience

· Mastry of electronic schematics, PCBA Design, Debug, and Verification

· Experience working with designs including Capacitive touch, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, or Thread.

· Strong background contributing to requirements definition, DFMEA, Verification and Validation testing, and manufacturing of electronics

· Knowledge of low power embedded designs

· Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, and USB

· Familiarity with Azure DevOps & Agile Project Management

· Self-starter and ability to take initiative to maintain project schedules.
