Your Role: Sr. Downstream Bioprocess Specialist (Night Shift)

The Sr. Downstream Bioprocess Specialist (Night Shift) is a technical process leader on the Downstream operations team responsible for manufacturing execution, changeover, and production control. The role is dedicated to the execution and oversight of the Clarification, Chromatography, and Tangential Flow Filtration operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Executes the operation with team serving as process leader, coach, trainer, and responsible party

  • Performs and verifies Maintenance, process setup, troubleshooting, change over, process intervention.

  • Operations representative for cross-functional process support team, engaging in process

  • Real-time problem solving, process intervention, and technical experiment delivery

  • Ensures process documentation is prepared and completed with accuracy and concurrence

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education High School Diploma / GED

  • Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in Liquid Protein A Chromatography at manufacturing scale

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Production scale filtration

  • Formal Root Cause Investigation training

  • Proficiency with SAP

  • GMP manufacturing

  • Tangential Flow Filtration

  • Travel: Minimal

  • Location: Elanco Animal Health Elwood, KS
