Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Provide comprehensive technical support throughout the sales cycle, specifically focusing on prospecting, discovery, and the technical defense of solutions during the negotiation phase.
  • Technical Discovery: Lead technical discovery sessions to identify customer challenges and define desired outcomes through rigorous stakeholder collaboration.
  • Solution Validation: Utilize targeted demonstrations to validate and align the proposed solution with the customer's strategic direction.
  • Value Proposition: Deliver executive-level presentations on the technical value of Idira’s machine identity security solutions, illustrating how they address specific enterprise challenges and facilitate future-state transitions.
  • Solutions Engineering Advisory: Provide strategic oversight for solutions engineering activities, including deep-dive demonstrations, Proof of Value (POV), and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
  • Content Development: Author high-quality technical content, including architectural diagrams and presentations that communicate the functionality and value of Idira’s machine identity solutions.
  • Market Feedback: Synthesize and relay customer requirements, feature requests, and market trends to the Product and Solutions teams to drive innovation.
  • Professional Evangelism: Represent Idira at industry trade shows, webinars, and seminars, engaging with partners and customers to build brand authority.
  • Product Mastery: Maintain expert-level knowledge of secrets management and machine identity security while staying abreast of competitive solutions and common enterprise technology stacks.

Qualifications

  • Core Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to present complex technical data concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address multifaceted technical challenges.
    • Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and maintaining stakeholder alignment across organizational levels.
  • Security Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise security concepts, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of industry best practices.
  • AI & Emerging Technology: Proficiency in AI concepts, including harness engineering, Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI Agents, loop engineering and model fusion, is highly desirable.
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: Significant experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD toolsets (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Associate/Professional Cloud Architect credentials (AWS, Azure, GCP) are preferred.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on documenting strategic plans and technical solutions with precision.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to providing constructive feedback based on customer usage to streamline service offerings and maximize product utility.
