We arelooking for a seasoned leader with experience in growing and expandinghealth care consumer technologybusinesses. The Patient DigitalGM willbe responsible forall functions consistent with leading a software business including, but not limited to strategy, product, R&D,salesand financeThis leader will alsobe responsible forinteracting withnumerousother internal and external technology solutions as well as strategy anddelivery against dozens of different digital solutions
The ideal candidate will have a strongtrack recordofgrowth,creating operational structure, setting direction, developing business strategy, and managing day-to-day operations. Understanding the external market forces and a strong business development background will also be critical to success in this roleCandidates must have the ability to Get StuffDone;or GSD as we call it –bothwithcasting a strategic vision and a willingness to roll up the sleeves to deliver.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategy:
Develop a deep understanding of the business and create strategies byobservingtrends, data, customer feedback, and understanding the competitive environment
Identifyand execute on external partnerships and relationships that will advance our mission and grow our impact
Understand key healthcare trends; aligns business to respond to or capitalize on changing needs
Translate our vision into a strategic plan and lead teams to execute the plan
Takes measured risks in investing resources in significant initiatives that transform organizational process and/or practices to achieve excellence
Determinesthe further scope of integration of various cross-functional initiatives and brokers consensus among executive leaders to implement it
Identifiesand prioritizes gaps on projects; proposes and implementsquick-winstodemonstratecompetency and generate immediate business value
Balance operations of business with developing a vision for the future
Operations:
Manages business to KPI’s such as physician satisfaction, user adoption, product scorecards, and feature releases.
Serves as the senior escalation point to ensurehigh levelsof quality, patientsatisfaction, and teammate satisfaction. Becomes personally involved in engagements where necessary to mitigate risk.
Manages $10-20MMinvestmentand complete P&L develops and recommends changes to stay within approved budget objectives
Partners with cross functional operations and support leaders to drive thoughtful product enhancement and release strategies
Product and Software:
Product ownership for ~20clinical applications which include DaVita Care Connection flagship productand supporting products used by20,000 patients
Coordinates with product directors, VP of Medical Affairs, and customers to develop and implement an IT portfolio strategy based on strategic businessobjectives Holds direct reports accountable for implementing the strategy.
Works with IT leaders to buildanticipatedtechnology needs while managing an active technology portfolio of prioritized business needs.
Leverages business acumen toidentifyopportunities to integratetools into the larger strategies of DaVita and the needs of the renal community
Team:
Contributes at a senior level to the Digital TransformationLeadership Team
Leads and builds the culture of a cross-functional team, focused on kidney careinitiatives,including:Product, R&D, Operations, Sales, Legal, and Compliance
Analyze complex issues and lead individuals and groups in developing and implementing successful resolution tactics
Values Team and understands drivers to achieve high morale
Helps the team navigate through a dynamic, changing environment
Is a servant leader and fosters an environment of trust, transparency, and quick decisions with the ability to pivot understanding the needs of the business and risks at hand
Village Partnerships:
Builds strong relationships with other leaders and teams across DaVita, including Clinical Enterprise, Office of the Chief Medical Officer, DaVita Integrated Care, and Field Leadership
Partners with Village leaders to ensure business supports DaVita strategy
Ability to manage multiple constituents,needsand priorities
Evangelizes the Patient Technologyvision, strategy and goals to various stakeholders and team members
Gains confidence of the business and issoughtfrom outside to be a thought partner on various Village initiatives

PreviousExperience:
BS/BA in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
Consulting experience or MBA preferred
3-5 years in Director or VP role; prior GM role preferred
Patient focused software experience strongly preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Strong business acumen with ability to influence and present to Senior Leadership

The Salary Range for the role is $148,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hourWashington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
