Job Description

The Senior Facilities Director is responsible for leading and optimizing maintenance and facilities operations across a portfolio of multifamily luxury apartment communities. This individual will develop and implement a portfolio-wide maintenance strategy that ensures operational excellence, safety, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a Certified Pool Operator and HVAC-certified professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale property maintenance teams in the multifamily luxury housing industry.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of multifamily property maintenance experience, including regional portfolio.
• Experience working with or supporting high-end clientele or luxury properties
• Develop and execute a comprehensive, portfolio-wide maintenance plan with defined standards, service metrics, and inspection protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency and cost savings through preventive maintenance programs and capital planning.
• Oversee daily maintenance and facilities operations across multiple multifamily communities.
• Monitor property performance metrics and ensure consistent service delivery across all locations.
• Coordinate with property management, construction, and development teams on renovation and capital improvement projects.
• Recruit, train, and mentor on-site maintenance supervisors and technicians.
• Develop and manage professional development programs to enhance technical and leadership skills.
• Implement performance tracking systems to measure and improve team productivity and effectiveness.
