The Sr. Director, Business Solutions & Data – BCD will play a critical role in this transformation. This leader will partner closely with business leaders across operations and commercial functions to define complex business problems, shape data-driven solutions, and enable scalable capabilities across BPG. This is not a traditional IT delivery role. Instead, it is a strategic role focused on problem definition, value creation, and enterprise scalability, working in close partnership with centralized technology and data teams.
How will you make an impact?
Business Partnership & Problem Definition
Partner with BCD leadership to understand strategic priorities and operational challenges
Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, structured problem statements
Identify opportunities to improve outcomes such as SIOP effectiveness, inventory optimization, and cycle time reduction
Data & Analytics Leadership
Define data requirements across commercial, operational, and process domains
Identify gaps in current data availability, quality, and integration
Collaborate with enterprise data teams to enable analytics and AI-driven use cases
Solution Strategy & Design
Define scalable solutions leveraging enterprise platforms and emerging technologies
Ensure solutions are designed for reuse across BPG (BCD, SUD, PPA, FSD)
Partner with centralized engineering and delivery teams to execute solutions
Cross-Functional & Cross-Divisional Collaboration
Engage across operations, commercial, and finance functions
Identify opportunities to scale solutions beyond BCD into other BPG divisions
Drive alignment and adoption of standardized approaches
Value Realization
Define and track business outcomes and success metrics
Ensure solutions move from concept to adoption and scale
Continuously refine solutions based on business feedback and performance
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience
10+ years of experience in IT, data, or business transformation roles, demonstrated experience leading teams
Experience partnering with business leaders in operations and/or commercial environments
Strong understanding of data, analytics, and digital technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in product- or platform-oriented operating models
Familiarity with AI/ML applications in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences
Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong business acumen and ability to connect technology to business outcomes
Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and define structured approaches
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Strategic thinking with a focus on scalability and reuse
Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage senior leadership
What This Role Is Not
Not responsible for day-to-day IT operations or infrastructure
Not a project or program management role
Not a divisional CIO managing local IT delivery

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $192,700.00–$289,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
