The Senior Director of Internal Auditwilllead internal audit function,includingfinancial, operational, and compliance audits across global operations. This roleis responsible fordeveloping and executing a risk-based audit plan, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, andprovidingstrategic insights to executive leadership and the Audit Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive, risk-based internal auditstrategyalignedwith businessobjectives
Lead enterprise risk assessments andidentifykey areas of audit focus.
Manage and execute audits across financial reporting, operational efficiency, IT systems, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure audits are conductedin accordance withIIA standards and company policies.
Present audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
Maintainstrong communicationwith external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Drive improvements in internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
Leverage data analytics and technology to enhance audit effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CIA, or CISA certificationrequired
15+ years of progressive experience in internal audit and/or public accounting.
10+ years management experience.
Experience in leading or managing ERM programs.
Experience in consumer goods orretailindustrypreferred.
Proven leadership in managing global audit teams and complex audit engagements.
Strong understanding of SOX compliance, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), IIA and data analytics tools.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
Ability to influence change and drive cross-functional collaboration.
