The Role

JD Power is seeking a senior technology leader to serve as Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, responsible for leading the team that supports the transformation of the company’s enterprise business applications. At the top of that portfolio is Salesforce– thebackbone of how JD Power sells, quotes, bills, and serves customersalongside NetSuite, Coupa, and the broader suite of SaaS platforms that run Finance, Sales, HR, and Operations.

JD Power is aThomaBravo portfolio company that has grown from $300 million to approximately $900 million in revenue through ten strategic acquisitions since 2019. That growth has produced a complex, fastevolving enterprise systems landscape, and this role exists to bring order, momentum, and scale to it. You will own the strategy andjust as importantlythe execution, driving the delivery, integration, and modernization of the platforms that run the business.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has scaled enterprise application platformsSalesforcefirst and foremostin highgrowth environments. You willsetthe multiyear platform strategy, build and lead a team of architects, developers, administrators, and analysts, and partner directly with executive stakeholders across Finance, Sales,RevOps, HR, and Operations. You will be accountable for the portfolio’s technical excellence, delivery rigor, and measurable business outcomesand for building the team and operating model to sustain both as JD Power continues to grow.

The Impact You Will Have in This Role

As Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, you will be the driving force behind how JD Power’s business runs on its core systems. By owning the roadmap for Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, and connected platformsand the crossfunctional processes they support, from quotetocash and procuretopay to recordtoreport and hiretoretireyou will make the systems, workflows, and data that run the business more reliable, connected, and built to scale. You will lead JD Power’s quotetocash transformation and build a modern enterprise applications function that business partners trust and rely on every day.

WhatYou’llBe Doing in This Role

Platform Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the Enterprise Applications Roadmap:Define and evolve the multiyear strategy and roadmap for JD Power’s enterprise application portfolioSalesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ/Billing, Service and Experience Cloud), NetSuite, Coupa, and connected business systemsgrounded in real business needs and delivery insight.

  • Lead the QuotetoCash Transformation:Modernize the endtoend flow from opportunity to quote toorder torevenue, driving measurable improvement in velocity and accuracy.

  • Own Core Business Processes:Own and improve crossfunctional processesquotetocash,procuretopay, recordtoreport, and hiretoretirewith clear performance outcomes.

Delivery & Execution

  • Lead DaytoDay Execution:Lead delivery of business system initiativesimplementations, enhancements, and integrationsleading through the work rather than from a distance.

  • Act as Product Owner:Serve as product owner for core enterprise platforms, making realtime prioritization and tradeoff decisions with stakeholders.

  • Drive Integration & Data Quality:Drive integration execution for clean, consistent data flow across systems of record, and ensure the data accuracy and reporting leaders trust to run the business.

  • Automate & Simplify:Identifyand implement automation and workflow improvementsincluding AIenabled tools where they add clear valuethat increase speed and reduce manual work.

Architecture, Governance & Operations

  • Establish Standards & Governance:Establishand enforce architectural standards, governance, security posture, and DevOps maturity across the application footprint.

  • Operate with Rigor:Define the metrics and dashboards that track platform health, delivery performance, and business outcomes, and bring discipline to roadmaps, OKRs, release governance, and incident management.

Team & Talent Leadership

  • Build and Lead the Team:Build, grow, and lead a team of managers and individual contributorsarchitects, developers, administrators, and business analystsincluding hiring, coaching, performance management, andorgdesign.

  • Develop Talent:Develop application talent, define roleclarityand career paths, and grow the bench of technical and delivery leaders.

Partnership & Vendor Management

  • Partner with the Business:Partner directly with executive stakeholders across Finance, Sales,RevOps, HR, and Operations to translate business priorities into a roadmap that drives measurable outcomes.

  • Manage Vendors & Spend:Manage the platform budget, vendor relationships, SI partnerships, and license strategyincluding RFP/RFI processes, contract negotiation, and total cost of ownership.

  • Own Key Vendor Relationships:Own the relationship with Salesforce and other strategic vendors (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa)influencing product roadmaps, navigating contract cycles, and managing escalations.

Qualifications of this Role

  • 12+ years in enterprise technology, enterprise applications, or business systems, with 5+ years leading application platform teams at the Director level or above.

  • Demonstrated experience scaling Salesforce orgs in highgrowth environmentswith CPQ and Billing in production.

  • Track recordof leading quotetocash transformations end to endopportunity through revenue recognition.

  • Handson experience across enterprise SaaS platforms beyond Salesforcee.g., NetSuite (ERP/financials), Coupa (procurement and spend), and HR/HCM systems (e.g., Workday).

  • Proventrack recordof leading implementations, integrations, and system improvementsnot just overseeing them.

  • Strongexpertisein integrations, APIs, eventdriven patterns, and data flows across cloudbased environments (Azure, AWS).

  • Exposure to AIenabled tools that improve internal business processes, with sound judgment on where governance and human review matter (preferred).

  • Track recordof building and managing teams of architects, developers, administrators, and analysts, including managing managers.

  • Experience owning multimilliondollar platform budgets, vendor negotiations, and SI partner relationships, with discipline around cost/benefit analysis and RFP/RFI processes.

  • Experience defining application strategy in multientity or postacquisition environments where consolidation and consistency arerequired

  • Experienceoperatingin private equitybacked or highgrowth environmentsbalancinggrowth with operational efficiency.

  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven success partnering with Csuite and SVPlevel Finance and GTM stakeholders.

  • Experience in dataintensive or analyticsdriven businesses, particularly automotive, financial services, or information services sectors (preferred).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

This position has a starting salary range of $200,000- $230,000CAD /$210,000 -$240,000USDper year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee’s pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
