Our client is seeking a senior data leader to shape and scale the organization's enterprise data strategy, platform, analytics, and governance capabilities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring data is accessible, trusted, and actionable across the business, enabling better decision-making and supporting future AI and automation initiatives.
The role oversees the data platform, analytics, and architecture functions while partnering closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Finance, Go-to-Market, Customer Success, and Operations. The ideal candidate has experience building modern cloud-based data ecosystems, developing high-performing teams, and creating scalable solutions that support both operational reporting and strategic business insights.
What You'll Do:
Define and evolve the enterprise data strategy, architecture, and platform roadmap.
Lead teams responsible for data engineering, analytics, reporting, and data governance.
Build scalable data foundations that support business intelligence, AI, automation, and self-service analytics.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align data initiatives with company priorities and growth objectives.
Establish best practices around data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
Drive adoption of modern data technologies and advanced analytics capabilities.
Develop and mentor a team of data engineers, architects, analysts, and technical leaders.
Who You Are:
5+ years of people management experience with proven ability to groom high-performing future leaders.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline (information/data science, mathematics, computer science, etc).
Experience leading enterprise data, analytics, or data platform organizations within a SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or similar technologies.
Background building scalable data platforms, warehouses, governance frameworks, and reporting ecosystems.
Experience supporting executive decision-making through analytics, KPI development, and business insights.
Exposure to AI, machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead through collaboration across multiple business functions.
Track record of building and scaling high-performing technical teams.
Availability to travel domestically 4–6 times annually.
