Job Responsibilities:
Enterprise Data & Analytics Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive data and analytics strategies to support business objectives, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven insights to optimize organizational performance.
Oversee teams that monitor and analyze key business metrics, recommend performance improvements through analysis of operational data, customer experience, and business processes.
Ensure our data environment and data architecture strategy is optimized for Finance.
Master Data Management and Taxonomy
Ensure close connections with Medline’s MDM leadership to inform key strategic priorities
Maintain short- and long-term strategies to handle data that balance speed and discipline
Develop and maintain comprehensive data taxonomies to enhance data organization and retrieval, ensuring alignment with business needs..
Data Governance and Compliance
Ensure adherence for the Finance data and Analytics team to data governance policies and procedures.
Recommend, champion, and partner with Data Governance leadership to develop policies and processes to enforce data governance, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of organizational data.
Partner with data governance stakeholders to define standards and best practices for data management, documentation, and compliance throughout the organization.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data standards and develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), understand relevant goals, and measurement solutions.
Partner with IT and business leaders to evaluate and implement tools and technologies, and develop a technology roadmap to enhance data capabilities, including best practices around analytics, central data, and taxonomy.
Foster a company-wide culture of data ownership and recognition that data and information are core assets, promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Management responsibilities
Manage through multiple managers and provide leadership to one or more major departments or functions.
Lead strategic, tactical, and operational planning (12+ months) for the function or department.
Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions, or major projects/programs.
Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend, and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
Oversee hiring, performance reviews, training and development, and resource planning for staff.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Math, Business, Marketing or a related field.
Work Experience
At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, data management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience leading and managing data teams.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and optimizing data processes.
Strong knowledge of Finance and Business analytics.
Expertise in data governance, master data management, and taxonomy.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Experience influencing business managers to drive strategic and tactical decision making to improve performance.
Ability to partner with and influence a wide-range of cross-functional work teams and leaders.
Experience visualizing data and communicating analytics to a wide audience.
Experience applying project management best practices, business process re-design principles, tools and techniques.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$177,000.00 - $266,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
