As the Communications leader, you will lead strategic communications for the Pelvic Health Operating Unit, a growth-driver business within the Neuroscience Portfolio. Reporting to the President of Pelvic Health, and functionally to the Vice President Neuroscience Communications, you will develop and execute integrated communication strategies that accelerate business growth and strengthen culture. You will shape a Pelvic Health narrative that supports sustained global leadership in sacral neuromodulation, accelerated growth in implantable tibial neuromodulation, and commercial transformation, while executing communications strategies that engage and influence leaders, employees, customers, and external stakeholders. This role requires a business-minded communications leader who can translate strategy into clear, compelling, audience-centered communications that build confidence, drive alignment, and reinforce accountability during a period of rapid change and opportunity.

A Day in the Life: Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Strategic Communications Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that advances Pelvic Health’s business priorities, aligns with the Operating Unit President’s voice, and supports the broader Neuroscience portfolio. • Executive Visibility and Thought Leadership: Guide executive communications and thought leadership plans that elevate key leaders and position Pelvic Health as a category leader with a credible, forward-looking point of view on market development, innovation, patient impact, and commercial transformation.

  • Commercial Transformation and Change Communications: Lead communications that support major transformation efforts across people, process, technology, and culture. Build communication strategies that reinforce role clarity, readiness, accountability, and confidence as the organization evolves to support growth, launch execution, and new ways of working.

  • Integrated Campaign Management: Lead the strategic development and execution of integrated campaigns that connect business strategy, product storytelling, patient impact, and brand reputation across earned, owned, and internal channels. Ensure campaigns support key moments such as launches, training milestones, market activation, and leadership engagement.

  • Employee Engagement and Culture Activation: Partner with business and HR leaders to strengthen employee connection to strategy, activate culture, and reinforce a high-performing, growth-oriented mindset. Develop communications that help teams navigate change, celebrate progress, and stay aligned around shared goals and expectations.

  • Strategic Public Relations and Media Engagement: Build and manage strong relationships with media, analysts, and industry influencers to enhance visibility and elevate Pelvic Health’s reputation externally. Identify proactive opportunities to showcase innovation, patient outcomes, clinical progress, and business momentum.

  • Reputation and Issues Management: Proactively shape the Pelvic Health operating unit’s identity across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels. Lead communications planning and response strategies that protect trust, support leadership decision-making, and maintain credibility during issues, change events, or crises.

  • Performance Measurement and Insights: Use data and audience insights to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies, strengthen message resonance, and continuously improve outcomes. Link communications metrics to business priorities such as engagement, launch visibility, brand awareness, and organizational readiness.

  • Enterprise and Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with GCCM colleagues and cross-functional leaders across marketing, commercial, HR, clinical, and corporate communications to represent Pelvic Health’s priorities, bring enterprise strategies to life within the operating unit, and elevate Pelvic Health stories in enterprise channels.
