Provides strategic leadership for communications and brand initiatives across a region, business unit, operational portfolio, specialized area, or large-scale business segment. Leads the development and execution of integrated communications and brand strategies that strengthen reputation, support stakeholder engagement, and advance organizational priorities. Partners with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align communications activities with long-term business objectives, enterprise initiatives, and brand standards. Oversees communications governance, content strategy, reputation management, and organizational messaging across multiple audiences and channels. Guides teams and organizational partners to ensure communications efforts reflect company values, business priorities, and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads communications and brand strategy across a region, business unit, operational portfolio, or specialized area to align initiatives with organizational objectives and companywide standards.
Advises executive and business leadership on communications strategy, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, media considerations, and issue response.
Directs integrated internal and external communications planning in collaboration with business leaders, communications partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and message consistency.
Oversees development and execution of communications strategies, editorial planning, and storytelling initiatives that strengthen brand reputation, support organizational priorities, and enhance stakeholder understanding.
Establishes governance practices, communication standards, and operating frameworks that promote consistency, alignment, and coordination across communications activities and enterprise initiatives.
Leads communications support for complex, high-visibility, or business-critical initiatives that require coordinated stakeholder engagement and strategic message management.
Reviews and evaluates communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, stakeholder feedback, and performance reporting to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, public relations, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
12+ years of experience in business-to-business communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field required.
Experience leading regional, business unit, portfolio, enterprise, or large-scale communications strategies required.
Experience managing individuals, teams, or cross-functional communications initiatives required.
Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
