Senior Director, EMEA Partner Management

Reports To: Group Vice President, Global Partners & Ecosystems

Team Size: Leads an organization of 11 team members, including both direct and indirect reports across the EMEA region.

The Senior Director, EMEA Partner Management leads UKG’s strategic partner ecosystem across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), reporting to the Group Vice President, Global Partners & Ecosystems. This executive role drives regional growth through global systems integrators, consulting and advisory firms, channel and referral partners, strategic outsourcing providers, and technology alliance relationships.

Leading an organization of 11 partner professionals, this leader develops and executes partner strategies that accelerate revenue growth, expand market reach, improve customer outcomes, and strengthen UKG’s influence across EMEA. The role requires strategic vision, executive relationship management, commercial leadership, organizational leadership, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Management & Ecosystem Leadership

  • Develop and execute ecosystem strategies across GSIs, regional consulting firms, technology alliance partners, referral partners, and channel reseller organizations.
  • Establish executive engagement models, lead regional alliance planning, and guide investment decisions that maximize growth and market impact.
  • Identify opportunities for differentiated joint solutions, services offerings, and go-to-market motions with strategic partners.
  • Represent UKG in key industry, analyst, and partner forums while serving as the regional voice for partner strategy.

Partner Strategy & Business Growth

  • Define and execute the EMEA partner ecosystem strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop annual business plans, growth targets, and performance metrics for the EMEA partner portfolio.
  • Drive partner-sourced, partner-cosell, and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue opportunities.
  • Recruit strategic partners, assess market trends, and strengthen UKG’s competitive position across the region.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key strategic partners across EMEA.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for critical alliance relationships and lead joint business planning and governance.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, investment plans, and strategic growth initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with regional Sales leadership to align partner engagement with territory and account strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on joint campaigns, events, thought leadership, and demand generation.
  • Work with Product Management, Product Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success to support alliance priorities and optimize partner participation across the customer lifecycle.
  • Influence internal stakeholders to ensure partner initiatives align with strategic business objectives.

Partner Performance & Enablement

  • Create and support weekly business cadence to report on key partner metrics to the regional sales leader and global partner leader.
  • Establish scorecards, governance processes, and performance measurement frameworks for partner success.
  • Drive partner enablement, certification, and readiness programs.
  • Monitor pipeline creation, bookings contribution, partner satisfaction, and ecosystem health through regular business reviews.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop partner management professionals across EMEA.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, organizational development, and visible leadership within the Global Partner Organization and broader UKG community.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in partner management, strategic alliances, channel sales, business development, or related leadership roles.
  • 8+ years of experience leading regional or international partner organizations.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic partner ecosystems within enterprise software, SaaS, HCM, workforce management, or related technology industries.
  • Experience managing GSIs, consulting firms, channel partners, and technology alliance partners.
  • Strong executive presence, stakeholder influence, revenue growth track record, and experience operating in complex, matrixed global organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting multinational enterprise customers across EMEA and leading geographically dispersed, multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of HCM, WFM, Payroll, or adjacent enterprise technology markets.
  • Strong understanding of channel programs, alliance management frameworks, partner economics, ecosystem development, and executive-level influence.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel throughout the EMEA region and internationally as required (approximately 30–50% travel).

The pay range for this position is £162,600 to £219,500 with the opportunity to significantly increase total earnings through a performance-based incentive compensation plan The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
