Global Planning & Operations (GP&O), connects end-to-end planning, order management, and execution to deliver products to customers with speed, quality, and predictability. It brings together planning, inventory, order management, and order execution capabilities into a unified global operating model that drives operational excellence and enables scalable growth across Lam’s factory network.

The impact you’ll make

Lam Research is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Director, Order Fulfillment Management (OFM) to lead the Asia Order Execution team.

In this role, you will own order execution—from commitment through shipment—ensuring customers receive products with speed, quality, and predictability. You will partner across Sales Operations, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to deliver operational excellence and drive continuous improvement across a highly matrixed global network.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering on customer commitments while building scalable capabilities to support Lam’s next phase of growth.

What you’ll do

Lead Global Order Execution

  • Lead Order Execution teams across Asia (Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan) and partner globally
  • Own execution of system and upgrade orders from commit through shipment and closure
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for customer and operational issues

Deliver Operational Excellence

  • Drive performance against key metrics: On-time as committed (OTAC), On-time to plan (OTTP) and other KPI’s.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics
  • Deliver high levels of Customer Delivery Experience through speed, responsiveness and innovation

Partner & Influence

  • Collaborate with Sales Ops, Product Management, and Global Operations to improve fulfillment performance
  • Drive alignment in a matrixed organization without direct authority
  • Influence senior leaders with clear, data-driven insights

Build & Scale the Organization

  • Develop a high-performing, globally consistent OFM organization
  • Strengthen decision-making at the point of execution
  • Build structure, capability, and talent pipelines for growth

Drive Transformation

  • Lead initiatives to improve speed, quality, and efficiency
  • Translate strategy into disciplined execution across sites
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10–15+ years in global operations, manufacturing, or supply chain leadership
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and order fulfillment
  • Proven success in a complex, matrixed global environment
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior executives
  • Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
  • English fluency

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor or similar advanced manufacturing industries
  • Track record leading through growth and transformation
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution across global teams
  • Strong stakeholder and influencing skills
  • High agility and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to influence in a matrix organization across Business Units
  • Ability to manager competing priorities
  • Able to identify opportunities for value-creating/positive change, can craft a vision and architect a change strategy in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels, acts quickly to resolve conflicts
  • Travel: ~20%
  • Requires collaboration across global time zones

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
