PlexTrac is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to serve as a technical powerhouse for our infrastructure. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role focused on developer enablement. You will architect and implement the internal platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments that allow our products to scale securely.

While you will contribute to strategic decisions, your primary focus is execution and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support our cybersecurity products and services utilizing cloud technologies
• Automation and CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and enhance automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to improve development efficiency and product reliability
• Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure best practices and security measures are implemented throughout the development and deployment process. Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and potential threats proactively
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the performance, availability, and health of our applications and infrastructure. Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure optimal system performance
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and software configurations. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations, to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Communicate effectively to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, processes, and best practices. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization

Qualifications

• India-based
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (minimum of 8 years)
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and technologies in a fast-paced environment
• Functional knowledge of cloud computing concepts, experience with Google Cloud is a plus
• Scripting and programming: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Go, or Ruby is advantageous
• Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar solution
• Containerized environments: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes or similar
• Linux operating systems: Debian and RHEL based distros primarily
