Description
Abtech Technologies is looking for an experienced Data Protection Engineer to join our team. We are a 35-year-old, privately owned IT Services company with headquarters in San Diego, CA. This is a remote, full-time position with benefits.
· Implementation of Data Domain, Avamar, IDPA solutions for clients
· Test and validate Dell DPS products with Abtech’s StorTrust DR cloud
· Pre/post-sales support for Abtech’s StorTrust DR cloud
Requirements
Requirements
· Deep knowledge of positioning and/or deploying Dell Data Protection products (Data Domain, Avamar, IDPA, Networker)
· Deep knowledge of scoping and sizing Dell Data Protection solutions
· Can quickly pass or already possesses Dell Technical Architect and/or Implementation Engineer certifications for Dell DPS
· Most work over the phone or remote login, but some travel may be required for OEM training, sales support, and customer installs
· Knowledge of Quest (Rapid Recovery, NetVault) and Veeam products desired
· Knowledge of other backup software (Commvault, Veritas, etc.) a plus
