The Sr. Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric designs and builds enterprise-grade data pipelines and lakehouse architecture within the UVM Health Microsoft Fabric data platform. This role is responsible for the reliable and scalable delivery of high-quality data from Epic and operational source systems into the unified data model, enabling downstream analytics that supports clinical care, operations, and quality improvement. The Sr. Data Engineer serves as a technical lead on complex data integration projects and mentors junior engineers.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field required.
Experience:
• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and PySpark skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical components of complex data projects.
• Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
