The Data Lake 2.0 Pod builds the shared data foundation that powers analytics, AI, and machine learning across Southwest. Using modern cloud architectures and a DevOps mindset, the team creates scalable, reusable frameworks that help hundreds of application teams securely collect, store, and access enterprise data.
As a Sr Data Engineer on the Data Lake 2.0, you'll design, build, and optimize the high‑performance data pipelines that keep Southwest's data ecosystem running at scale. You'll partner with teams across the U.S. and Hyderabad to improve platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency while enabling trusted data delivery across the enterprise. Your work will help accelerate analytics, business intelligence, AI, and machine learning capabilities that support better decisions and experiences for both Employees and Customers.
