Job Description

Kemin Nutrisurance Europe is seeking a skilled Data Architect for a full-time position for Veronella (VR) head office. This professional will play a pivotal role in designing and governing the enterprise data ecosystem.This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that align with the organization’s long-term business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. By establishing robust data models, integration frameworks, and governance standards, the Data Architect ensures that data assets are effectively structured, accessible, and optimized to support advanced analytics and informed decision-making across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that support enterprise-wide business objectives.
  • Define and maintain comprehensive data models, integration frameworks, and governance standards to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance across systems
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic solutions that enhance the organization’s data capabilities and future readiness.
  • Architect and oversee robust data integration pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing mechanisms to support advanced analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Implement best practices for data lifecycle management, quality assurance, and performance tuning to maximize system scalability and resilience.
  • Partner with business intelligence professionals, data engineers, and IT stakeholders to align data architecture with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making by promoting awareness of data architecture principles and their strategic value across the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture roles.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong expertise in designing enterprise data solutions and managing large scale data systems.
  • Experience integrating structured and unstructured data at scale.
  • Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and metadata management.
  • Expertise in designing data products aligned with modern data mesh principles for modular and reusable architectures.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and practices such as data quality, metadata management, and master data management
  • Azure solutions architect or Databricks certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks, projects, resources and ability to identify priorities.
