Levi’s is looking for a seasoned Data Analyst and Data Visualization Expertfocused on retail commercialanalytics andreporting. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller and hands-on analyst who uses data to inform commercial decisions across retail. You willbe responsible fordelivering analytical products including Looker dashboards, recurring performance reporting, ad hoc analyses, and actionable recommendations. You will partner closely with Data Engineering and Product to define goals, prioritize reporting needs, and ensure the data foundationsrequiredfor trusted reporting. You should be curious about the business, comfortable working with large datasets, and able to communicate insights clearly to audiences with mixed levels of technicalexpertise
About the Job
Translate retail commercial questions into clear analytical approaches by defining KPIs, success metrics, and measurement plans.
Build andmaintainLooker dashboards and self-serve reporting thatmonitorretail commercial performance (e.g., sales, margin, traffic, conversion, inventory, and promotional effectiveness) and are trusted by business stakeholders.
Conduct deep-dive analyses toidentifytrends, drivers, and opportunities; synthesize findings into concise narratives that inform commercial decisions.
Partner with Product, Data Engineering, andCommercial teamson planning, goal setting, and prioritization of the retail commercial reporting roadmap.
Partner with Data Engineering to improve data quality, lineage, and business logic for key retail commercial datasets; support validation, issue triage, and documentation.
Promote best practices in analytics (metric definitions, dashboard design standards, and QA) to enable consistent reporting across regions and teams.
Enable stakeholders through office hours, training, and documentation; help partners interpret metrics and use dashboards effectively.
Drive adoption of standardized commercial reporting and dashboards, incorporating feedback to continuously improve usability and impact.
About You
3+ years of professional experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations
3+ years of applied datareportingexperienceGCP Looker experience preferred. (Tableau orPowerBIexperienceare alsoacceptable)
3+ years of experience in extracting & manipulating large data sets from various relational databases using SQL (Amazon Redshift, Oracle,GoogleBigQuery).
Coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (Python preferred) to import, summarize, and analyze data
Hands-onexperience working withretail domain data such as sales transactions,product/skudata, inventory and shipment data, and consumer data
Ability to translate and present complex analysis in executive summaries. Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
Strongproblem-solvingskills
Proficiencyin English communication.
Bachelor'sin economics, Statistics, Data, DataScience and Engineering (master’sis a plus) or equivalent experience.
