About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in macOS
to strengthen endpoint security and system resilience across enterprise
environments. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining
macOS security architecture, ensuring compliance with organizational and
regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage macOS
  security measures
  to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber
  threats.
• Configure and maintain the pf firewall to ensure network integrity
  and policy compliance.
• Administer and optimize JAMF Pro for macOS device management,
  emphasizing security configuration and compliance enforcement.
• Deploy and manage endpoint
  protection tools
  such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to enhance threat detection and
  response.
• Conduct security
  assessments, vulnerability scans, and apply remediation measures to maintain a robust
  security posture.
• Develop, document, and
  enforce macOS security policies, standards, and best practices
• Investigate and respond to security
  incidents,
  including root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with IT and
  cross-functional teams to align security measures with business and
  technology objectives.
• Manage network
  access and authentication technologies such as VPN, CASB, Conditional Access, and MFA
  for macOS systems.
• Stay current with macOS
  security trends, vulnerabilities, and tools to proactively enhance the organizations
  defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity,
  Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of
  experience in macOS
  engineering, architecture, and administration with a security focus.
• Strong understanding of macOS
  security principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience with pf firewall
  configuration and management
• Proficiency in JAMF Pro for device management and
  compliance monitoring.
• Experience implementing and
  managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or equivalent solutions.
• Excellent analytical,
  problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively
  in both independent and collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar for automation
  and system security management.
• Familiarity with enterprise
  security frameworks
  and additional security tools.
• Experience integrating macOS
  endpoints with Microsoft Azure environments
