We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant with 8+ years of SAP experience and strong expertise in supporting and optimizing SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant will be responsible for providing functional support, incident resolution, enhancements, process improvements, and business user assistance across procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics execution processes.

The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of SAP MM and EWM modules, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience working in a global AMS (Application Management Services) or support environment.

Key Responsibilities

SAP MM (Materials Management)

Procurement & Purchasing Support

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for procurement and inventory management processes.
• Support and troubleshoot:
• Purchase Requisitions (PR)
• Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
• Purchase Orders (PO)
• Contracts and Scheduling Agreements
• Source Determination
• Release Strategies
• Configure and maintain procurement processes and organizational structures.
• Support supplier onboarding and vendor master management.

Inventory Management

• Support inventory-related transactions and issue resolution.
• Manage:
• Goods Receipts (GR)
• Goods Issues (GI)
• Transfer Postings
• Physical Inventory Processes
• Stock Transfers
• Monitor inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and stock management.

Material Master Data

• Support creation and maintenance of:
• Material Master Records
• Purchasing Information Records
• Source Lists
• Quota Arrangements
• Ensure data quality and governance compliance.

SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

Warehouse Operations Support

• Provide production support for SAP EWM warehouse processes.
• Support:
• Inbound Processing
• Outbound Processing
• Internal Warehouse Movements
• Putaway Strategies
• Picking Processes
• Packing Processes
• Replenishment
• Stock Transfers
• Physical Inventory

EWM Configuration & Maintenance

• Configure and maintain:
• Warehouse Structure
• Storage Types
• Storage Sections
• Activity Areas
• Work Centers
• Queue Management
• Warehouse Process Types
• Support RF (Radio Frequency) transactions and mobile warehouse operations.

Shipping & Logistics Execution

• Support integration between EWM and:
• Transportation Management (TM)
• Shipping Processes
• Carrier Management
• Delivery Processing
• Monitor warehouse execution performance and process efficiency.

SAP S/4HANA Support & Enhancement Activities

• Analyze and resolve production incidents and service requests.
• Gather business requirements for change requests.
• Perform impact assessments and solution design.
• Configure system enhancements and process improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments.
• Support upgrades, release testing, and regression testing.
• Enable and support SAP Fiori applications related to MM and EWM.

Integration Responsibilities

Work closely with cross-functional teams supporting integrations between MM/EWM and:

• FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)

• Supplier Portals
• Logistics Service Providers

Incident, Problem & Change Management

• Manage incidents through ServiceNow, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, or similar ITSM tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents within SLA targets.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, Development, and Infrastructure teams.
• Participate in change management and release activities.
• Develop knowledge base articles and support documentation.

• Exposure to SAP BTP integration concepts is an advantage.
• Understanding of debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP Certification in:
• SAP MM
• SAP EWM
• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or automotive industries.
• Knowledge of SAP TM, Yard Logistics, and Automation Integration preferred.
• Experience supporting global warehouses and distribution centers.
