Job Description

Amazon's Japan Consumables Private Brands team is looking for a Senior Commercialization Manager to join our team. The Commercialization Manager will engage with internal and external resources to deliver Amazon Private Brands products customers love in Japan market. This role is designed to build strategic partnerships that support growth, cost optimization, while delivering product development initiatives from planning to successful launch.

Key job responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and own multi-year commercialization strategy and roadmap for Japan market, influencing senior leadership on strategic product development decisions
• End-to-End Ownership: Own product commercialization process from supplier capacity assessment to launch execution across multiple product categories, managing portfolio of annual product launches
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, partnering with Category Managers, Sourcing Managers, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams across regions
• Process Innovation: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and automation for product development workflows, reducing time-to-market by identifying and implementing scalable solutions
• Global Coordination: Launch new product lifecycle management system functions and manage global sourcing coordination with NA, EU.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on launch targets, timelines, and business cases, communicating results throughout the organization
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Build and analyze cost/benefit scenarios and business cases using advanced analytical capabilities to drive informed decisions
• Quality Standards: Drive packaging improvements and ensure highest standards across the product portfolio while optimizing costs

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years in product/program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Owned/defined roadmap strategy and drove end-to-end product delivery
- Delivered features with clear tradeoffs and strategic prioritization
- Experience as a PM/PO owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
