Position Specific Description

The Senior Property Claims Adjuster will be able to investigate, evaluate, and manage to resolution assigned Property claims of varying monetary exposures and/or complexity. This position will require both direct claim handling and Third-Party Administrator (“TPA”) oversight and supervision. The position will require, among other things, interfacing with insureds, insurers, reinsurers, Managing General Agents, brokers, underwriters, attorneys, third party claims administrators, Independent Adjusters, and other vendors. Please note: This position is based out of our Palm Beach, FL office.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for investigating assigned Property claims from first notice of loss to final resolution adhering to Palms’ claims processes and procedures with respect to investigating, analyzing coverage, determining quota shares,
  • Litigation Management, issuing payments, reporting, reserving, and auditing for assigned caseload.
  • Responsible for contacting all parties involved in the claim, gathering, and securing all necessary information to effectively evaluate the claim and provide recommended action plans to manage assigned claims claim.
  • Provides excellent communication with policyholders, underwriters, brokers, or third parties, following line insurers and attorneys during the course of the claim.
  • Ensures assigned claims are properly documented, reserved, and audited regularly.
  • Make recommendations to Palms Claims Management as needed with respect to reserves and excess authority.
  • Review and evaluate claims related expenses for reasonableness and necessity.
  • Responsible for reviewing claims and related contracts to identify risk transfer opportunities.
  • Responsible for evaluating claims and identifying and acting upon claims resolution opportunities within an assigned level of authority.
  • Must maintain all Adjuster Licenses to stay in compliance.
  • This position is responsible for handling personal injury and major property damages claims asserted by or against the company.

  • Provides support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be willing to obtain All-Lines Adjuster License within 45 days of hiring date.
  • Must maintain all Adjuster Licenses to stay in compliance.
  • Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures a plus.

This position is responsible for handling personal injury and major property damages claims asserted by or against the company.

Required Qualifications


• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

• Experience: 6+ years
