Qnity has an exciting and challenging opportunity for R&D Chemist in our Semiconductor Technology (ST) Lithography R&D group in Korea R&D Center located in Dongtan, Korea. ST Lithography R&D closely collaborates with the world leading customers to succeed together in both existing and emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
Development of patterning materials for photolithography
Develop optimum formulations for best lithographic performance with key raw materials (small molecules and polymers) based on strong knowledge of structure-property relationship of organic materials and effective DOE.
Characterization photoresist thin films with various analytical tools (X-ray techniques, AFM, TOF-SIMS, FT-IR, microscopes etc.) to identify key parameters and material index determining lithographic performance.
Simulations to predict physical and chemical properties of designed molecules and polymers.
Close working with formulation team to define key properties for better product performance.
Qualification
Ph.D. or master degree (entry level or up to 3 years of relevant industrial experience after degree) in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, and Material Science & Engineering
Experiences in organic thin film characterizations are plus.
Verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and presenting in English.
Effective in team interactions with willingness to learn from peers.
