Job Purpose:

This position leads sourcing and contracting activities in support of category strategies and business initiatives at TruStage and is responsible for achieving cost-effective procurement outcomes while maintaining and improving product quality and supplier service levels. They partner closely with stakeholders across Procurement, business areas, and internal support functions to deliver cost-effective solutions, support supplier performance, and achieve business outcomes. Adopts best practices that drive simplification, standardization, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct RFx, guides supplier selection process, and executes contracting process
  • Work to minimize the total cost of transactions and helps to identify ways to transition more spend to the strategic categories over time
  • Leverage existing sourcing strategies for spend categories as appropriate
  • Ensure that all purchases made adhere to policies and procedures
  • Upholds internal and external policies, regulations and laws
  • Drive best practices across processes and procedures. Identifies ideas to improve process.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies
  • Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years related work experience in Purchasing.
  • Demonstrated expert team facilitation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and basic understanding of supply chain management
  • Ability to manage entire order to payment process.
  • Ability to translate the identified requirements into clear, comprehensive, consistent, and mutually exclusive requirements.
  • Highly effective listening, interpersonal, influencing, team work, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to comply with existing/quickly adapt to new processes within the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; Able to forge internal customer/ external supplier relationships.
  • Service oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity or other technology solutions.
  • Experience negotiating software licenses, subscription, and technology services agreements
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts involving artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and AI-related commercial terms
  • Experience in highly regulated industries

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:

$83,100.00 - $124,700.00
