SAP SD Business Analyst
Dynamic opportunity for an SAP SD Business Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the execution of the company’s project portfolio by providing guidance and expertise to implement new technologies and processes to grow the business. You will partner with stakeholders on the Finance, Sales teams to represent the business interest as part of major project initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Gather requirements, analyze, design and configure SAP ECC/ SAP S/4 HANA solutions to meet the business requirements and conduct unit and integration testing.
Partner with business resources, technical analysts, and consultants to implement new technologies
Formulate and define project scope and objectives. Lead business workshops, requirements review and process design thinking sessions for solution blueprinting
Prepare SAP system assessment, Requirements Analysis and GAP analysis documents, Design documents, Functional Specification and configuration and user guides.
Enhance or improve business systems processes that drive efficiency through the use of best practices in SAP areas of SD Revenue Recognition, PS, and Master Data.
Develop and maintain knowledge within the functional/technical area of focus to support the business to design and improve business/system processes.
Provide input and recommendations to help build and maintain the company systems architecture including the evaluation of new modules, add-ons, and the implementation of system upgrades.
Develop standards and templates to track project schedule, cost, and performance
Provide application functional support in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using ALE, IDOC, XI and other integration technologies.
Provide end-user training and user support during project phases and provide effective handoff to the appropriate IT support teams.
Follow applicable Project Office standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the execution of projects.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Configuration in SAP ECC application module areas of SD, Project Systems, Material master
Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and configuring SAP Sales & Distribution (SD Module) and Variant Configuration with minimum 3 end-to-end implementations in SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4 HANA.
Strong knowledge of order fulfillment, attribute-based pricing, available to promise, contracts & scheduling agreements, reporting, billing, settlement management, back order processing, shipping and transportation, Integration with planning, logistics, procurement and Finance.
Strong Knowledge of the variant configuration including characteristics, object dependencies, pre-conditions, selection conditions, constraints and procedures.
Order Management (Intercompany orders, contracts, Batch Management, Periodic/Milestone billing, Make to order process knowledge, Tax integration, Variant configuration, sales order costing, sales BOMs, IDOCs, Pricing, credit Management)
Logistics (shipments, carrier integration, serial no management)
Rev Rec, Billing (Invoice forms)
Experience with SD module configuration in SAP S/4 HANA
Experienced in utilizing and applying SAP best practices on projects
Strong knowledge of SDLC Processes and practices
Strong interpersonal skills - effective listening and teaming, self-motivated, demonstrated a bias for action
Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with SAP ECC SD as Business Analyst, configurator
Minimum 2 years of working in SAP HANA and/or S/4 HANA platform.
SAP S/4 RAR experience will be a plus (preferred)
Bachelor’s in engineering degree is required
