The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will support the IT Supply, Logistics, and Risk organization, bridging the user community and IT. This role involves assisting the business in its use and understanding of the Motiva systems needed to conduct business activities effectively and efficiently. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with knowledge of the downstream industry, particularly in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems and processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our business processes, ensuring efficient use of technology, and providing valuable insights into decision-making within our organization. The role spans business processes, function delivery, and application expertise. The Sr. Business Analyst will be trained to have functional knowledge in logistics and risk processes. The analyst will capture the business value and leverage Motiva’s investment in the toolset by continuously improving technology, processes, and organizational capabilities associated with the use of the systems. The successful candidate will be a fast learner, able to work with limited supervision, enjoy helping others, and have good attention to detail.
