
of Performance Expectations:
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will support organizational decision-making through data analysis, reporting, process mapping, process improvement, automation, and technology-enabled solutions. This role will develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical tools; analyze complex financial and operational data; and leverage technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve efficiency, enhance analytics capabilities, and support business outcomes. The analyst will partner with the Finance division, IT, operational teams, and other organizational analysts to identify business needs, translate requirements into actionable insights, document and optimize processes, support SOP development, identify automation opportunities, and enhance organizational capabilities through training, education, knowledge sharing, and effective adoption of analytics tools, reporting solutions, and technology-enabled business processes that strengthen financial and operational decision support.
Education and Credentials:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Finance, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related role, with experience in any combination of data analysis, reporting, process improvement, system implementation, or business operations. Proficiency in database concepts, spreadsheet management, and analytical tools required.
Preferred:
Master’s degree preferred along with one or more relevant certifications (e.g., CHCRS, CHFP, CRCR, CSAF, CSAPM, CSBI, CSPR, CSPPM, EHRC, FHFMA, Power BI, SQL/data analytics, Microsoft Office, Lean or Six Sigma, or similar certifications.). Within 6 months of Hire
Work Experience:
Required:
Five years of experience in healthcare, information systems, technology, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related analytical role, with proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
Preferred:
Experience in integrated financial/clinical analysis and reporting expertise. With one or more HFMA Healthcare certification(s), (e.g., CHCRS, CHFP, CRCR, CSAF, CSAPM, CSBI, CSPR, CSPPM, EHRC, FHFMA Power BI, SQL/data analytics, Microsoft Office, Lean or Six Sigma, or similar certifications. May allow incumbent to obtain within 6-9 months of employment.
