Arthrex is actively seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to partner directly with the IT and HR departments within Arthrex. A successful candidate will have experience eliciting, analyzing, and translating business needs into clear functional requirements, with demonstrated knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules, SuccessFactors Story Reporting, reporting best practices, and end-to-end HR business processes. The role will help mature the use of data with user-friendly analytical tools, dashboards, and advanced analytics so that relevant information can be efficiently gathered, shared, and interpreted by HR. Excellent communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills, along with a Bachelor’s degree, will be essential for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Arthrex HR business departments and business processes to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
  • Translate business goals and objectives into strategic business capabilities.
  • Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
  • Work with HR Information technology and HR departmental teams to provide and support best-in-class data & analytics tools (including suggestions of reporting tools and solutions outside of SuccessFactors) to enable deeper analysis and decision making by HR, other business units, and resource leaders.
  • Become a champion/Power User/advocate for business partners to help maximize use of analytical tools at disposal by promoting their use to solve business problems and inefficiencies manual reporting.
  • Assist in data validation and troubleshooting between source systems, data management platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Leads the design of innovative & comprehensive reports, dashboards, and other data analytics visualizations.
  • Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.
  • Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, detailed functional requirements, operational requirements, process flows, and test cases.
  • Develop a roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
  • Engage in efforts to establish scope and business case for new programs and initiatives.
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing activities.
  • Accountable for adoption of solutions by sponsoring HR business departments.
  • Document current processes and models to understand potential improvement.
  • Identify technical functionality that aligns with desired new business capabilities.
  • Develop job aids, deliver training, and share best practices to improve efficiency and adoption of analytics tools.
  • Up to 10% international travel required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area is required.
  • At least five years’ experience within a business function, and Human Resources business analysis or business process improvement activity is required.
  • At least five years’ experience in the deployment or optimization of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Front-End Data Visualization & Analytical Tools is required (examples: PowerBI/ SF Story Reporting).
  • Experience working in projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure a plus.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Lead process improvement and IT projects to achieve business goals and objectives by using various techniques and tools.
  • Experience with data modeling and data analytics design standard concepts & best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of several HR functions and related data & analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.
