Job Description

Drive data‑informed decision‑making by delivering accurate performance insights that strengthen leadership’s strategic direction. Support strategic initiatives by optimizing processes and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and organizational performance.

  • Interpret complex, cross‑functional datasets using advanced analytical methodologies to uncover performance drivers and enable executive‑level strategic insights.

  • Assess data quality, readiness, and analytical gaps to safeguard the integrity of insights and ensure decisions are grounded in complete and reliable information.

  • Monitor end‑to‑end data governance processes—including data collection, validation, and quality assurance—to ensure the organization operates with accurate, consistent, and trusted information.

  • Analyzes operational and strategic data to identify, create, refine, and validate key performance indicators (KPIs), generating actionable insights that enhance visibility, improve forecasting, and strengthen data‑driven decision‑making.

  • Report performance, compliance, and operational outcomes to enhance transparency, reinforce governance, and support leadership oversight.

  • Monitors collaboration with senior management, key stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to develop, implement, and track action plans aligned with performance metrics, standardized data definitions, and enterprise business processes, ensuring organizational alignment and strengthened financial risk mitigation.

  • Mentored Business Analysts to enhance their analytical and strategic capabilities, resulting in improved accuracy in deliverables and stronger decision-making outcomes.

  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

Experience

  • 4 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, business strategic support (interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, forecast, statistical results) and other analytical functions.

  • Experience using business system or analytic platforms.

  • Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 4 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.

  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 9 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 6 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.

Competencies (Skills)

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of supported business functions to identify opportunities where technology can optimize operations, strengthen controls, and improve overall performance.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Power BI and other reporting software.
