We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Product team in smartPulse Turkey. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions by working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, improve business processes, and support the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will play a key role in transforming business challenges into actionable product requirements, supporting product development through data-driven analysis, and contributing to the continuous evolution of our software solutions within the energy technology sector.

What you will do to make a difference

• Analyze business requirements, operational processes, system behavior, and data flows to identify product and process improvement opportunities.
• Gather and evaluate customer needs and translate them into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical analysis documents.
• Work closely with Product, Development, QA, and other stakeholders throughout analysis, development, testing, and release processes.
• Analyze data using SQL and available monitoring tools to investigate issues, validate system behavior, and support business decisions.
• Analyze APIs, integrations, and system-to-system data flows using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Investigate production issues by reviewing application behavior, logs, database records, API responses, and integration flows.
• Identify functional gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks during requirement and solution analysis.
• Track customer usage, system performance, and operational feedback to identify current and future product needs.
• Transform customer feedback, operational findings, and market insights into actionable product development requirements.
• Support testing and validation activities to ensure that delivered solutions meet defined business and functional requirements.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree from related engineering departments of universities
• At least 6 years or more experience in Software Analysis
• Experienced in requirements gathering, writing use case diagrams
• Experienced in modeling and analysis of business processes
• Good knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, general knowledge of any software language (Javascript, C# and Python preferably)
• Knowledge of Project Management Principles (Agile / Scrum etc.)
• Willing to learn new and different products and technologies, open to development and able to adapt easily to different products and technologies
• High written and verbal communication skills and experience in documentation
• Effective communication skills and good command on English
