Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sr Business Analyst is a key contributor to strategic decision-making through robust sales forecasting and commercial analytics. This role supports revenue optimization, sales strategy enhancement, and cross-functional initiatives by delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
Go-to person between our Commercial and Finance teams. Subject matter expert on and responsible for SFDC (Sales force metrics and Performance & KPI tracking). Responsible for providing sales, volume and financial analysis internally and tailormade customers request required to evaluate business opportunities. Generate market intelligence presentations for internal and external use.
Essential Functions
Provide volume and financial analysis required to evaluate financial results.
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts using historical data, market trends, and predictive modeling.
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously refine forecasting models.
GFK market data and insights gathering and sharing (detecting and sharing market opportunities)
Commercial customer analysis (dept analysis en insights) on category, channel, distribution, product
Processing sell-out data of third parties, adding to Customer Performance Dashboard (Excel)
Creation of field sales representatives’ toolkit (sales and distribution KPI’s) to enhance business opportunities.
To analyse the market for new products / trends, identifying opportunities and potential threats.
Identify growth opportunities and risks.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI of commercial initiatives.
Support ad-hoc analysis and business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and market expansions.
SFDC Local Admin and champion
Close collaboration with Field Sales Manager in supporting SFDC KPI metrics and performance reporting
Admin for Salesforce; responsible for managing and maintaining the CRM System. i.e. Territory management, User set-up, data validation, managing sales reps, reporting and dashboarding etc.
Consult with the EMEA team about data quality and make changes if necessary (Cognos, SFDC, Oracle).
Reporting & Dashboarding; Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Data Visualization & Reporting
Contact for Strategic Partner Accounts on in-depth analysis.
Work closely with the in-market commercial team to support and implement regional and local strategies.
Work together with Marketing on processes, registration and tracking of campaigns
Responsible, from finance perspective, for the segmentation process on customer level in consultation with the regional manager
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align forecasts with business goals.
Provide insights to support commercial strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Operations for strategic planning and budgeting.
