Position Summary

Performs independent quality reviews throughout the equipment lending lifecycle to ensure documentation accuracy, funding readiness, system integrity, and compliance with approved credit terms, policies, and procedures. Manages and coordinates operational workflow to support timely transaction processing, exception resolution, and service delivery standards. Provides operational support by preparing loan documentation, booking transactions, and assisting with servicing activities as needed.

Key Performance Functions

  • Conduct pre-closing quality control reviews of loan and lease documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved credit terms.
  • Verify borrower, guarantor, collateral, and entity information prior to document execution.
  • Identify and resolve documentation exceptions and missing requirements before closing.
  • Perform quality reviews of executed closing packages to confirm all documents are properly executed and funding conditions have been satisfied.
  • Validate compliance with collateral, insurance, and lien perfection requirements prior to funding approval.
  • Provide funding quality control sign-off or return packages for correction when deficiencies are identified.
  • Coordinate with Documentation, Underwriting, Relationship Management, Servicing, and Funding teams to identify bottlenecks, resolve processing delays, and facilitate timely transaction completion.
  • Review customer and transaction setup within servicing systems to ensure accurate booking of approved transactions.
  • Validate payment terms, rates, balances, collateral records, and servicing instructions prior to final booking.
  • Identify and resolve setup discrepancies to prevent downstream servicing, accounting, and reporting issues.
  • Prepare loan and lease documentation as needed to support operational volumes and business continuity.
  • Book lease transactions within servicing systems as needed.
  • Perform servicing-related activities, including documentation updates, customer maintenance, and operational support functions as assigned.
  • Maintain quality control procedures, track exceptions, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational quality and reduce risk.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and operational risk management activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of equipment lending, loan operations, documentation, servicing, or quality control experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation, collateral requirements, funding processes, and servicing systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintains high standards of accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and compliance activities
  • Demonstrates superior organizational and prioritization discipline, independently determining urgency across multiple complex client engagements, proactively managing competing deadlines, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
