This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.

The Sr. Associate, Supply Chain Planning (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for optimizing supply chain outcomes through specialized tasks and independent research. You will gather demand information, analyze trends, adjust production schedules, manage inventory, and coordinate with procurement for timely materials.



Key Responsibility

• Gather demand information, analyze trends, and adjust production schedules

• Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess

• Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability and secure materials while maintaining supplier relationships

• Align with production schedules

• Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks using advanced knowledge and analytical skills

• Handle more complex and senior-level tasks compared to Sr. Associate II

• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training

• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance

• Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations​.

What you will bring to Alcon

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, or a related planning function.

  • Experience in demand forecasting, forecast management, and inventory planning.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and manage forecast volatility.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across commercial, supply chain, and regional teams.

  • Proficiency in planning systems and data analysis tools; experience with SAP or IBP is a plus.

  • Experience in Medical Device, Consumer Health, FMCG, or related industries is preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment and manage multiple priorities across APAC markets.
