Job Description

The Payroll Sr. Associate is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of payroll. Ensuring timely processing and compliance to standard payroll processes of assigned account/s. S/he will perform inquiry management/resolution, transaction processing and general customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Payroll end-to-end process.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees’ payroll for countries supported (Brazil)
• Ensure data from Workday and non-Workday data is collated and transferred to the Local Country Payroll Vendor (LCPV)
•Support other payroll processes as terminations, pay in advancement, loans, vacations, social security payments, etc.
•Assist in the compilation and update of related payroll tools e.g., Country payroll manuals, wage type catalogues, process flows and payroll calendars.
•Support payroll software upgrades to ensure that the system is updated as per legal and statutory requirements.
•Ensure to address employees’ concerns and queries in a timely manner.
•Drive and sustain cross country process improvement and commonality, within the countries supported.

REQUIRED SKILLLS:

•Brazil knowledge of payroll processes and procedures.

•Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change
•Proficient with Microsoft Office software (excel) and ideally having worked with multiple technologies, AI, RPA and/or automation tools (e.g. HRIS System, Workday, SAP)
•Strong drive for results, accuracy and control compliance
•Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality
•Excel advanced
•2 - 4 year payroll experience

PREFERED SKILLS

•Language: English intermediate. Spanish is a plus.
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or Business Administration.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time

  • Percentage of travel time expected: less than 10%

  • Remote work once a week for eligible employees (4x1);

  • This position is not eligible for relocation;

  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice as assigned by the Manager.
