Position: Java Developer

Experience: 4–8 Years

Location: Chennai

Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern software development practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
• Build and enhance scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs/Web Services.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with Maven and version control tools such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Banking or Financial Services domain is a plus.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
