
The Global Health Investments Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the Pfizer School of Science’s Educational Program Director in executing the field trip experience for local students, including interfacing with schools, working with key vendors and driving program management activities to ensure successful operations of the program. The role will also support GHI team in program operations including executing GiveForward programming, helping to expand colleague volunteering opportunities and supporting The Pfizer Foundation operations and impact reporting on global health programs and colleague engagement.
This role will require regular on-site attendance at NYHQ, sometimes 3-4 days per week, when necessary.
Global Health Investments (GHI) is responsible for designing and executing colleague and community engagement programs that support Pfizer’s social impact activities around the world. This includes Pfizer School of Science, a science-based educational program which offers NYC students a field trip experience at our office, including a 60-minute learning module on select science topics; GiveForward which is Pfizer’s employee giving and volunteering platform, supported through The Pfizer Foundation, to help colleagues make an impact in their community through financial donations and volunteering activities and Pfizer’s Arts and Culture portfolio.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure successful operational implementation of Pfizer School of Science (70%)
Provide program management support to GHI leadership and Pfizer School of Science Educational Program Director.
Independently interface with teachers and principals to discuss Pfizer School of Science and enroll schools for participation.
Manage relationships and school outreach and act as contact for teachers and maintaining the relationships for future visits.
Execute field trip experience to meet needs of the program strategy and vision.
Manage scheduling of colleagues who will volunteer during school visits.
Act as greeter and tour guide for student groups arriving to NYHQ
Program management tasks may include but are not limited to: budget management, monitoring shared mailbox, website development, coordinating bus transportation, managing supplies and equipment inventory, etc.
Ensure successful operational implementation of select Pfizer Foundation programming (30%)
Manage operations for NYHQ volunteering events in partnership with Site Affairs team.
Manage Pfizer’s Arts and Culture grant portfolio and serve as primary point of contact for external partners
Support GiveForward team on daily program operations (e.g., managing colleague inquiry email, updating core guidelines and materials, website oversight).
Help manage monthly impact and metrics reporting through Colleague Influencer network.
Other ad hoc projects supporting The Pfizer Foundation colleague and community engagement programming.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated strong project manager with 2+ years of relevant experience
High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent written, oral, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience executing project plans and managing budgets
Proven ability to execute day-to-day planning and operational activities and help find solutions to complex problems
Creative thinker, with experience in event planning & execution
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience working effectively across functions
Analytical skills and data evaluation
Responsive, professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions keeping in line with our values

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $79,400.00 to $132,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
