Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Senior Associate for Fulfillment Strategy to join our operations team. This is an ideal role for a high-potential fresh graduate who is eager to dive deep into the mechanics of supply chain and fulfillment at Zalora. As a self-starter in a fast-paced environment, you will play a critical role in optimizing our operations, managing procurement, and turning raw data into actionable insights that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfillment Strategy & Reporting: Monitor and analyze core fulfillment metrics to identify bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities. You will be responsible for preparing regular reports that guide strategic decision-making.
  • Procurement for Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for warehouse and operations materials. You will ensure we have the right inventory levels to meet operational demands while maintaining cost efficiency. You will also periodically review our packaging to ensure we are using optimal sizes and that all materials adhere to the sustainability standards of Zalora.
  • Data Analysis: Maintain and improve our data tracking systems. You will transform complex operational data into clear, concise reports to support team objectives.
  • Operational Learning: Actively immerse yourself in our warehouse operations to gain a comprehensive understanding of our processes, identifying ways to optimize workflows on the ground.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Frequently meet with key leaders across departments to convey data findings and explain their impact on overall operations.
  • Warehouse Escalation Team Support: Guide the Warehouse Escalations Team in backend support and provide direction on troubleshooting. You will periodically review escalation procedures alongside the team to ensure standards align with customer needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Recent graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field).
  • Mindset: A true self-starter who is hungry to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in environments where they can build and refine processes from scratch.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: A genuine interest in understanding the "how" and "why" behind warehouse operations. You should be comfortable moving between desk-based data work and operational floor realities.
  • Data Fluency:
    • Required: Strong aptitude for data management and basic analytical reporting. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential.
    • Bonus (Plus): Experience with MySQL or a demonstrated ability to learn SQL quickly.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
