What you'll do

  • Support the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise camera systems across airports, operational areas, and office environments.
  • Configure and maintain Milestone XProtect or similar video management systems (VMS) to ensure reliable, 24/7 video surveillance and retention compliance.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolution of video outages or degraded performance, minimizing operational impact.
  • Manage camera firmware, upgrades, RMA processes, and device inventory across a diverse fleet of IP-based devices.
  • Conduct site assessments, design camera layouts, and optimize network configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards such as TSA, and PCI for cameras placement and video retention.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to support project requirements and deliverables

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 1+ years experience in support and delivery of mission critical platforms

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • Airline Industry experience
  • Experience with Java Full Stack Software development
  • Experience with Python or Java Full Stack Software development
  • Knowledge of Network and Cyber Security

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise video surveillance and camera systems, including VMS configuration, lifecycle management, and compliance with security standards such as TSA and PCI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve camera and video system outages, perform root cause analysis, and manage firmware updates, upgrades, RMAs, and device inventory.
  • Conduct site assessments, design camera layouts, optimize network configurations, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver project requirements.
