This role involves detailed examination and characterization of semiconductor device failures, interpreting analytical results, and providing insights to support root cause identification. The Associate Engineer will handle FA requests submitted to the FA group, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of findings to enable corrective actions and process improvements.
Responsible for conducting physical die polishing cross-sectional, die deprocessing, Focused Ion Beam (FIB), Scanning Electron Microscopy (XSEM), EDX analysis to support failure analysis (FA) investigations. This role involves detailed examination and characterization of semiconductor device failures, interpreting analytical results, and providing insights to support root cause identification.
