Summary

The Application Developer – Flutter designs, develops, tests and maintains full‑stack applications using the Flutter framework and related technologies. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high‑quality mobile and web applications, collaborating within Agile teams, and contributing to continuous improvement in development practices and DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile and web applications using Flutter and Dart.
  • Build and maintain front‑end and back‑end components, including cloud‑native microservices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams in Agile ceremonies.
  • Integrate DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripting, and infrastructure collaboration.
  • Diagnose and resolve recurring technical issues and support incident response.
  • Implement automated testing practices and contribute to continuous testing improvements.
  • Maintain documentation to support application development standards and onboarding.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, PMO and other IT groups to align with technology standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process, tooling and architectural improvements.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
  • Travel frequently, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • Certifications in application development or related technologies.
  • Experience with native iOS/Android development.
  • Knowledge of backend languages (e.g., C#, Java) and modern front‑end frameworks.
  • Experience with Firebase, Azure DevOps, PWA, and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and version control tools (e.g., Git).

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000.The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
