Job Title: Sr Applications Programmer
Location: Huntsville, AL (On-Site)
Clearance Required: Secret or Above
the Development Lead devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.
· Serve as the Technical Point of Contact for configuration, installation, and support of software and associated hardware
· Provide the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications (GOTS, MOTS, and COTS) used on unclassified and classified PAE Fires systems to support Financial Management, Logistics, Configuration Management, Program Management, Contracts Management, and Systems Engineering
· Write, test, execute, and maintain source code, including research, new development, modification, reuse, re-engineering, and maintenance, and provide modifications and maintenance to all legacy systems as well as new software development
· Create, update, and maintain local and remote environments to ensure availability and integrity of applications across development, staging, pre-production, production, and training environments
· Perform analysis, design, implementation, sustainment, and retirement activities in compliance with PAE Fires software development standards, and track activities through technical service tickets using Government-provided tools
· Control connections and access to applications and underlying databases, including user accounts and privileges, and work with the security team to identify and fix vulnerabilities and computer incidents
· Provide business application development for Knowledge Management initiatives, including GOTS applications written in .NET, MOTS solutions such as SBM and SharePoint, and COTS applications of the PAE Digital Enterprise, including managing user licenses, user accounts, and patching
· Implement the software assurance program, including static code analysis, DISA APP DEV STIG implementation, OWASP Top 10 implementation, and NETCOM Software Assurance TTP
· Deliver Computer Software Products (including documentation and source code) and Software Products
· Submit a Contractor's Risk Management IAW DI-MGMT-81808 (A045) for any third-party, public domain, or FOSS products, including SBOM where feasible, for Government CCB approval prior to implementation

Compensation: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
