Job Description

Role Purpose

Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturing requirements, ensuring stable system operations with minimal impact on production lines, gathering and analyzing business requirements, leading system analysis and design, providing effective solutions to meet business needs, and serving as the liaison between business stakeholders and the global/regional IT organization to ensure the implementation of IT policies and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the key contact point for manufacturing related requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage demands by following the global IT demand process in order to fulfill the IT system requirements and meet user needs.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to provide technical and functional solutions for the digital system.
  • Supervised day-to-day operations and ensured team alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinated cross-functional teams and facilitated communication between site IT, network team, DBA and business groups.
  • Engaged with business groups regularly to understand pain points and provide the solutions to meet business needs.
  • Translated business needs into functional specifications and worked closely with team members to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Engaged in design analysis discussion with IT by offering feedback and suggestions.
  • Analyze incident cases to reduce repeat occurrences and improve system reliability.
  • Respond promptly to urgent manufacturing issues.
  • Participate in important plant activities as the IT contact window.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields in Management.
  • 5 years or more of hands-on experience in IT software development and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in maintaining Manufacturing Execution Systems and manufacturing processes.

Business

  • IAP awareness is required.
  • Good English & Chinese communication in speaking, writing and presentation is must.
  • Managing & measuring works
  • Capable of priority setting and multi-task management
  • Manufacturing process knowledge

Function/Technical

Be familiar with the following computer skills:

  • Software development tools such as Python, AWS, Power Platform, HTML, CSS, Java, C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET
  • Manipulation of Relational Database Systems: system design and manipulation, SQL statements, stored procedures (Experience with Oracle and SQL Server is a must)
  • Have solid experience and knowledge in software development, system analysis, design, or programming.
  • Be able to conceive, communicate, and implement IT strategies and plans.
  • Champion performance excellence and focus on quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Define and communicate critical standards and processes required to share/protect knowledge or information.
  • Be able to manage a portfolio and support or manage the execution of multiple projects.
