The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering ServiceNow platform solutions that align with business needs and strategic priorities. This role leads multiple moderately complex initiatives and enhancements, driving solutions from concept through deployment.
The developer operates with limited supervision, applying deep technical expertise and sound judgment to analyze issues, evaluate solution options, and implement scalable solutions. The role also serves as a technical resource for less experienced team members and contributes to continuous improvement of platform capabilities and processes.

Lead and deliver multiple moderately complex ServiceNow initiatives and enhancements, managing work from requirements through deployment, ensuring alignment with business priorities
Analyze and resolve moderately complex technical and functional issues, evaluating multiple solution paths and recommending optimal approaches, exercise independent judgment with minimal escalation
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, integrations, and custom applications, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and long-term platform strategy
Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance platform performance, scalability, and user experience
Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, shape solutions, and influence decision-making through technical expertise and recommendations
Communicate moderately complex to complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, guiding stakeholders toward effective solutions
Apply company policies and best practices to resolve a variety of technical and process-related issues
Perform analysis of moderately complex problems involving data, systems, and workflows
Provide recommendations for process improvements and alternative solutions
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
Drive adherence to and continuous improvement of platform governance, development standards, and best practices, participating in design reviews and establishing quality benchmarks
Own and support ongoing platform maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for optimization
Experience in ServiceNow development (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or similar modules)
Working knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and platform capabilities
Familiarity with integrations, workflows, and ServiceNow data structures
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Demonstrated ability to lead moderately complex technical initiatives independently
Experience evaluating multiple solution options and making recommendations aligned to business and technical needs
Strong understanding of enterprise platform architecture and integration patterns
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment and evaluate multiple solution paths within broadly defined objectives
Effective communication skills, including explaining moderately complex concepts
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $103,300.00-$141,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
