Senior Quality Engineering Analyst
Location: Italy, Arese (Milan)

At SC Johnson, we believe quality is built into every product, every process, and every consumer experience. We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineering Analyst to support quality excellence across our External Manufacturing (EM) and supplier network throughout the EMEA region.
This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust quality systems, successful product launches, continuous improvement initiatives, supplier quality performance, and effective resolution of quality issues. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality standards across new product introductions, supplier qualification activities, process validation, and manufacturing excellence.
About the Role
As a Senior Quality Engineering Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E), Procurement, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure products and processes meet SC Johnson's quality standards from development through commercialization.
You will support supplier and external manufacturer qualification, provide quality leadership during new product launches, conduct audits, apply statistical methods to improve process capability, and contribute to continuous quality improvement programs across the region.
The role reports to the Manager, Quality Engineering EMEA and works closely with the regional and global Quality organizations.
About the Team/Department
The Quality Engineering team partners with manufacturing sites, suppliers, external manufacturers, procurement, RD&E, and global quality teams to ensure consistent product quality, consumer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the EMEA region.
The team supports both strategic projects and day-to-day quality operations, helping to bring innovative products to market whilemaintainingthe highest quality standards. 1
Responsibilities
New Product Development & Product Changes
Participate in cross-functional product development teams to embed quality requirements early in the development process.
Supportqualificationof new suppliers, external manufacturers, materials, equipment, and process changes.
Conduct Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) audits for new suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
Review and support development of critical product specifications.
Participate in product design reviews and technical project reviews.
Define quality success criteria and product-specific defect classifications and acceptance standards.
Product and Process Validation
Support process and product validation activities for new product launches and major product changes.
Lead or support Product Launch Qualification (PLQ) activities at supplier and external manufacturing sites.
Execute process capability studies and data-driven quality assessments.
Apply statistical tools to improve manufacturing processes and product performance.
Develop quality control plans and inspection strategies.
Support final specification reviews and approval activities.
Supplier & External Manufacturing Quality Management
Monitor supplier and external manufacturer performance through audits, assessments, and quality metrics.
Conduct quality system audits and compliance reviews.
Partner with suppliers to drive corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support supplier quality issue resolution and escalation management.
Continuous Improvement & Quality Excellence
Analyze quality trends, consumer complaints, non-conformances, and performance indicators.
Support root cause investigation and problem-solving activities.
Identifyopportunities to improve manufacturing quality, process capability, and operational performance.
Promote quality best practices across internal and external partners.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)policiesand procedures.
EnsureSHE considerations are incorporated into quality systems, projects, and operational activities.
Experience You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, oranother relevant technical discipline
Fluency in English.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, or Quality Engineering environment.
Experience working with suppliers, external manufacturers, or contract manufacturing partners.
Experience conducting quality audits and supplier assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 2859, ISO 22716, and related frameworks.
Experience with process capability studies, statistical analysis, sampling methodologies, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Understanding ofhousehold product manufacturing technologies and processes.
Familiarity with Lean methodologies, continuous improvement techniques, and risk management principles.
Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI/NPD).

The expected gross salary range for this position is between 38.800,00 EUR - 50.900,00 EUR. Job related skills, experience, and education, will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive, and/or long-term incentives.
