Collins Aerospace is seekingaprofessionalprocurementto join the team. This role willbe responsible formanaging theprocure-to-pay process for Indirect materials in support of operational purchasing needs and Supply Chain goals andobjectives

What You Will Do

• Identifyqualified suppliers for requirements,leveragingexisting agreements to the fullestextent;

• Manage purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment foraassigned commodities within the Indirectteam;

• Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery in support of commodity supplier and coststrategies;

• Analyze supplier quotes and makes sourcing recommendations sourcing decisions

• Ensureproduct on-time delivery to schedule

• Initiate supplier negotiations on price, leadtimeand terms & conditions

• Complete purchase order documentationin accordance withcompany policies and procedures

• Ensuretimelyplacement of orders to support business needs and meet team defined turntimes;

• Strong communicationskills to interface with requisitioner and other functional groups

• Ability to work as a team member independently based onadditionalprojects as assigned to supportSupply Chain organization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum3years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field orin absence of a degree,7years of relevant experience 

• Advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in both spoken and written English.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience using SAP (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects most preferred)

• Experienced in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with lean principles and productivity improvements

• Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing environment
