Zayo is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting & Consolidations tobe responsible forpreparing select month-end entries, financial statementsand othermonthly reporting packages including but not limited to financial statements and related notes to the financial statements.

Our Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting & Consolidations alsoassistswith technical accounting research, the interpretation and application of new accountingstandards,andcomplex accounting projects, includingpurchaseaccounting, pensions, equity-basedcompensationand other comprehensive income.

This position will report to theSeniorManager, FinancialReporting& Technical Accounting and will interact closely with various departments across Zayo, including Accounting, Investor Relations,Finance,Tax, Sales,OperationsandIT

Our Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting & Consolidations will alsobe responsible forassessing internal stakeholder reporting asks and developing solutions to meet the needs of the business.

* We're open to this position working in a hybrid capacity out of our Denver headquarters (1401 Wynkoop)

More About What You'll Get To Do:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements,notesand MD&A, including a detail tie out of the financial statements and underlying support for multiple Zayo legal entities

  • Serve assubjectmatter expert in financial reporting andconsolidations

  • Prepare month-end close entries and reconciliations for select processes including intangibles, debt and OCI, equity-based compensation, consolidation and elimination entries, and intercompany debt

  • Prepare monthlyconsolidatedand segment-level cash flow statements

  • Assistwith theexternal audit process, which may include preparing audit support and coordinating auditor requests

  • Recommendsolutionsto complex accounting projects, including valuation and accounting for business combinations,debt and equity instruments, pensions,consolidationsand other non-routine accounting transactions

  • Interpretnew accounting standards and develops our compliance approach includingdesigning new processes andoutliningnew system requirements

  • Design and implement new internal reporting as needed and through partnership with Zayo Finance and Zayo’s IT teams

  • Assistindeveloping,documentingand educating others on Zayo’s accounting policies for critical areas, such as revenue recognition, leaseaccountingand capitalization

  • Regularlyinteractwith variousfunctionalteams,including general ledger, legal, investor relations, and treasury, providing guidanceand answeringquestions, as needed

  • Participateinand leadother projects as necessary

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting,financeor other related field

  • Minimum of four(4)years of related experienceworking at anationalPublic Accounting firm,publiccompanyor large privatecompany with substantial reporting obligations

  • Actively licensed CPA or working toward licensure, preferred

  • Advancedknowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting and filing requirements

  • Ability to research and analyze variouscomplexaccounting and financial reporting issues

  • Ability to work independently,demonstrateinitiative, and exercise judgment in a fast paced and changingenvironment

  • Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and produce quality work while dealing with interruptions

  • Strong planning, organizational andproblem-solvingskills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to work effectively across the Company’s various business segments and locations

  • Knowledge ofMicrosoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel,Wordand PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Oracle, OneStream, Toppan Merrill Bridge, or Salesforce, a plus

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry, a plus

Estimated base salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
